While the Indira Gandhi National Pensions (IGNP) for widows and disabled people was doubled in the Union Budget of 2012-13, bringing it to Rs300 per month, the Old Age Pension for people aged under 80 years was not raised.
Gram panchayat
Gram panchyat include 6 villages. The source of income of the villagers comes from mainly from dairy farming,and farming and labourours. The population of the villages are approx 3000 comprising of 1600 male and 1400 female.
